More Than A Home Party- It's An Event.
Two East Grand Forks Natives, Nick Beste and Jason Rodahl, are grilling up growth for Man Cave, a company they started two years ago. These two small town Natives have nothing but BIG ideas in store for Man Cave. Man Cave, roughly two years old, started back in September 2009 by Beste, has branched out to 40 different states with over 1,000 Advisors.
You may be asking, what is Man Cave? Man Cave is a unique company dedicated to providing fun experiences for men. Those fun experiences include getting the guys together, grilling up some meat, and throwing back some cold ones. The Advisor is the core of the company and makes all that happen, while getting paid. Sound too good to be true? Listen to local Man Cave Advisor, Pat Reardon, from East Grand Forks talk about his experiences.

24 years old, fresh out of college and running a two year old business! That is a phrase that you don't come across very often! But none of that matters to Entrepreneur and Businessman, Nick Beste. Beste has already topped $1 million in sales with his pioneering and unique company, Man Cave. Man Cave is often referred to as the home party for men, however, there is nothing but pure "manliness" at these gatherings! Man Cave calls their home parties "MEATings" a manly get together than no man or woman can pass up! MEATings consist of irresistible combo platters of grilled meat, free beer, and free satellite TV pay-per-views for the hosts and guests.

Hey You!
You think your Man Cave has everything? Well, have you ever thought of this bad boy?
The Beer Arcade comes from Northern California-based Dream Arcades, which also offers premade arcade cabinets and DIY arcade kits. Take a high-end gaming PC with Play Station 3 connectivity, a 5.1 audio system, add full driving controls with dual-motor force feedback and variable resistance on the pedals, and, as the name would suggest, a beer tap.
I know, right?
Those are the basics, but it goes further than that. The Beer Arcade also comes loaded with a dozen driving sims (including Hard Drivin' and S.T.U.N. Runner, a few faves of mine) and a fully adjustable steering wheel and seat, and variable-resistance clutch, brake, and gas petals. As Dream Arcades is quick to point out, "Of course we don't condone REAL drinking and driving, but kicking back a few Bud Lights while playing your favorite games is a different story!"
So what about that beer? Well, this baby holds either two 5-gallon kegs or a half barrel. The golden nectar runs to the in-dash beer tap that sits right above a cup holder. Yeah. You can pour while you play. Your pals can use the other tap on the back while they mock your driving skills. You can have this custom-made beauty for about $6,000
Holy Hot!
Be careful where you set up your next grill if you're a New York resident, there are fines up to $50 for "grilling illegally."

Check out this article from a grilling and barbecue expert in Michigan, Troy Conner.
Conner argues the most common mistake when grilling is that individuals do not know the level the meat has cooked or cannot complete the meat’s cooking process, which is why a thermometer is so helpful.

Did you know most American ales and lagers actually contain fewer calories than an equal-size serving of orange juice or two percent milk? Read this article from esquire and learn why beer isn't as bad as it appears.
We thought a gas grill was considered "tech" in the grilling world, but apple just proved us wrong! To all the "tech" guys out there, you're going to have to buy a special holder to go next to your grill. Apple just came out with the first grilling and cooking thermometer and app for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad, called the igrill.
This bad boy can measure the thickness of a chicken breast or rib eye steak with the digital ruler, and then look up how long the meat should be grilled for and at what temperature.
If anyone has tried it comment and let me know how it goes! As for me, I'll be sticking to my charcoal and flames!
Anyone think they can beat these guys? Who is down for a Man Cave Brat eating contest?
